Untamed: Why So Short?

Just like a good man, you know they are out there but where haha. It has always frustrated me with leggings that there are so many cheap ones out there that are so unflattering, go transparent when you bend over or they start to bag after 1 wear. 

I get asked "why don't I make leggings" all the time, and I mean all the time and I always say the same thing. I am not going to make leggings until I can find good quality fabric at a reasonable cost. It's so important to find the right fabric and I have never managed to find it. 

Leggings are not pants!

I have always loved the comfort and versatility of leggings and I live in them. Before I started Untamed I was always annoyed that there was nothing long to wear over them, leggings are not pants! I was always looking for long tops or dresses to wear in both summer and winter over tights or leggings that were fun, comfortable and flattering. 

As you all know this is impossible, that is why I started Untamed haha. I always wanted to design clothes for the active lady, the real lady who is out having fun. I knew I wanted to wear long tops or dresses that were flattering, cool and practical and I knew others would too.

Love Fabletics

If you have asked me where I got my leggings from at a market or show then you will already know that I am in love with Fabletics. I hunted and hunted to find good quality leggings and I was pumped when I discovered Kate Hudson's online company. You really should check it out.

They are so comfy and really last and hold their shape. I have only had one issue with one pair over the years and the customer helpline was amazing and sent me a new pair straight away. I love good customer service, it really does make or break a company in my opinion. 

Something a little different

If you want something a little different and incredibly cool, you should check out Adrienne at AM Adventures. She is based out of Canmore, AB and gets her amazing landscape photography printed onto her leggings. The quality is amazing, the art looks beautiful and the fabric is perfect. Best of all she is Canadian so you are looking good and supporting Canadian made.
