"The Attitude was born"

The Attitude is the second Untamed Collection. It is fun and flattering because you arrange it to suit your frame and style. It looks fantastic on most bodies.

What to design next?

I first bought out the Ego Collection, which is meant to be worn just past your largest part (so under your bum). Often, people would try to pull it up to wear it with shorts or more as a top, but this look doesn't work because you want the pockets to lay flat on the ego, this look doesn't work.

So, I set about designing something super versatile. You could easily go from wearing it as a dress to a fun top to wear with jeans or shorts. It went from a sketch to a pattern, to a mock copy, to a few more mock copies, and then the Attitude was born.

First, I made it in my size (a small) and showed it to my boyfriend. He instantly said, “It looks great on you, but what about anyone bigger?” He worried me, so I made a medium and asked my medium-sized friend, who had also just had a baby, to come over to see what she thought.

She loved it.

She loved how she could move the side gathers up and down to hide her “mum belly”, her words, not mine. She looked so good in it. I was thrilled, so the next test was large. How would that look?

Another friend came over. She was unsure to begin with because the clothes were tighter than the clothes she usually wears, but she loved it as soon as she looked in the mirror. I have now seen hundreds of different-shaped women wearing the Attitude at various shows and festivals, and they mostly love what they see.

You simply arrange it to suit your frame, style and what you are wearing it with.

It is all one piece, so you simply wear the skirt part however you like and arrange it depending on what you are wearing it with. It really is that simple. The side gathers start just above your waist, and you can arrange them however you feel comfortable.

Pull it down entirely and wear it like a dress, either over tights or bare legs. I love wearing it as a fun summer dress. You can also simply pull the skirt part up slightly and arrange the gathers to suit you. You can keep it very straight at the hem or wear it at an angle.

What is it?

You can also make it look like a top by pulling it up and tucking the skirt part underneath, completely under or showing a bit of colour.

Or all the many ways in between. That's the fun thing with the Attitude; you wear your dress, your way. Shop Now.
