“Running a business is hard. But So fun”

Running a business is challenging—much more difficult than I ever imagined. I thought I graduated from fashion school, made pretty things, and sold them… easy, right? But it has been a wild rollercoaster ride filled with joys, mistakes, amazing experiences, and a constant steep learning curve.

Running this business on my own has taught me so much about control, organization and balance. I am constantly growing and have learned so much about myself, life, and the world around me. It’s been an incredible, amazing, frustrating journey! 

One of the hardest things in running your own business is making mistakes, realizing that everyone makes them and that they are part of the process. It's frustrating to make mistakes and then be unable to fix them immediately. It's hard. It's way harder than I had thought.

I love what I do, but I recognize that being "Untamed Obsessed," as my boyfriend calls it, isn't healthy. It's crucial for me and my relationships to take breaks from Untamed. Balancing my personal time, relationship time, and work is an ongoing mental struggle, but it's important for both me and the business, and I continually strive to improve.

I am excited about Untamed’s future direction. I deeply care about this beautiful planet and aim to continually create cool, functional, and ethical products that are fabulous for you and kind to the environment.
