Kendra Schellenberg is an award-winning artist born and raised in the Fraser Valley, BC. Inspired by a desire to examine and empower the feminine, celebrate our natural world, and have her viewer question their status quo.
"My work is a conversation I have with myself"
It’s a space for me to explore my lived experience of this world — to work out what I think and how I feel, and to get curious about why."

I created the BloomingBodies paintings because of a disconnect between my head, body, and heart. A conservative, patriarchal upbringing led me to internalize beliefs that my body was inadequate, my femininity undervalued, and my role was to conform.
I want to explore the world when we move beyond restrictions."
